Section 1.0: Liability Boundaries
At TRANSPORT DISTRIBUTION GLOBAL LLC, we believe in total transparency. How can we ensure your cargo is safe without defining the edge of our responsibility? Our liability for any claim for loss or damage to freight is strictly limited to the declared value or standard industry rates whichever is lower, unless otherwise specified in writing before dispatch.
We aren't responsible for delays caused by customs, port congestion, or severe weather conditions. Do you know who is liable if a storm hits the terminal? Our Bill of Lading clarifies these carrier exemptions under the Carriage of Goods by Sea Act and local DOT regulations.
Section 2.0: Warehousing Protocols
Every square foot in our 116 AGNES RD facility is monitored under strict liability protocols. Cargo left beyond the 48-hour free-terminal window will incur storage fees as per the current tariff schedule. Our team handles your goods with care, but risk of loss remains with the shipper unless insurance is specifically requested.
- Shipper must declare hazardous materials
- Packaging must meet ISPM 15 standards
- Loading dock procedures are final upon signature
Section 3.0: Payment & Claims
Net-30 terms are a privilege, not a guarantee. We've been in this industry for over 15 years, and we've learned that clear financial terms keep the wheels turning. Any dispute regarding freight charges must be filed within 7 business days of invoice receipt.
